is a massive asynchronous multiplayer game that casts players into procedurally generated temples and tasks them with retrieving the sacred relics hidden within deadly chambers.
Yes, this is probably S Tier if you have the Deluxe Whip, but chances are you won't be running with that whip 24/7 (and I personally find it to be a cheap and boring strategy). You'll be spending most of your game trying to AVOID fall damage, and if you're a particularly skilled player who knows how to roll, grapple, or use the Wings and Double Jump blessings to halt your fall, you should never see this blessing come into effect. This is essentially Lucky, but worse as it only blocks one specific type of damage.
Daily mode provides the same temple to all available players for 24 hours, except in this one, players can retry it as many times as they wish.
There's also a new daily mode, delivering a steady stream of challenges with specific equipment and conditions to best alongside everyone else.
in its current state it offers very little reason to try new whips once you find the ones you like. In the previous versions of the game to spice up the run I could try a new whip and because the whip was cursed it adds a new extra challenge. And the reward for winning with the curse was a non cursed version of the whip where you just had the unique whip benefit.
If you can see them, they died which means they probably arent hacking Hackers, in my experience, suck at the game even with cheats. I've got my answer though, I was just curiouus about the speed.
HOLY how have I not gotten a full run yet T_T In Phantom Abyss Speedrun Phantom Abyss, you compete with other players around the world to steal an idol from a temple filled with tough jumps, booby traps, and hidden keys. Using a whip for traversal, freerun your way through the danger to be the first (and only) player to reach the goal. Phantom Abyss is available on PC in Steam Early Access June 22nd. Phantom Abyss is a massive asynchronous multiplayer game that casts players into procedurally-generated temples and tasks them with retrieving the sacred relics hidden within deadly chambers. Intrepid adventurers will dodge scores of hidden traps, leap treacherous chasms, and flee relentless guardians through branching paths until one of the relics are claimed or the devices of death overwhelm them.
Underwater facility PATHOS-II has suffered intolerable isolation and you’re going to have to make some tough decisions. What makes sense? What is left to fight for?
To avoid going into the hub and having to restart the whole game you should not pick up the relic unless you have set a new personal best and instead quit to main menu.
Cool gimmick in that you see the phantoms of other players as they go through the same traps that you are, however I have played a few temples that are either new or randomly generated and there are just...pelo other phantoms?

Freedom of movement is critical in this game, and the Wings blessing grants you ridiculous amounts of horizontal distance while also negating fall damage due to its slow-falling effect.
